StickyNotes is a software bundle from NetSuite, that allows you to attach virtual post it style notes to records inside the system. Using StickyNotes allows for better, more organic communication, across teams, departments and your business.
Some common use cases for StickyNotes might include: Allowing your customer service team to communicate with your sales team by placing notes directly on customer records. You could also allow your finance team to create notes on adjusting journal entries. This could allow them to provide more clarification around why those entries were created. These are just a couple of examples, I am sure you can think of others.
In this chapter, and the next five videos, we’ll cover installing and configuring StickyNotes, so you can get up and running. Then we’ll go over using them on records and on the StickyNotes board. Finally we’ll wrap up with administration of the software, and provide insight into how the records are stored.
